CISCO UCS Login error java.io.IOException: Invalid Http response Login Error: java.io.IOException: Server returned HTTP response code: 400 for URL: http://x.x.x.x:443/nuova

If you receive the following error:

java.io.IOException: Invalid Http response Login Error: java.io.IOException: Server returned HTTP response code: 400 for URL: http://x.x.x.x:443/nuova

It’s a java version problem!

The easiest way to be able to login to the fabric interconnect is to enable http login and disable http to https redirect (also if it’s not the safest way!):

Login via ssh or console and enter the following commands:

scope system

scope services

enable http

disable http-redirect

You should then receive the following warning:

Warning: When committed, this closes all the web sessions.

enter:

  1. What type of answer is this from an “Engineer”???
SSL is enabled for security reasons. Simply bypassing it for convienance and then posting about gives us REAL ENGINEERS a bad reputation. If these comments are typical of your so called blog, please keep them to yourself as I am probably going to be to one comming in after you and cleaning up the mess.

    • Hi Jeffy Gezzy
I appreciate your comment, however, please note that this was not meant to be a solution to the problem, but a way to bypass a temporary “emapasse” created by a version of the software (now fully solved in current releases).
Also please note that i would have appeciated more your comment if you would have left an email address. The way you have written the comment seems more of a way to discredit someone else’s work… but that’s my opinion!

      have a nice life
